My wife and I finally came to Florence to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, after dreaming about it for years, so we really wanted to push the boat out just for once. The Hotel Roma was exactly what we were looking for and much more. We were instantly stunned by the fabulous hotel foyer – it really made us feel like we were living in the lap of luxury! We got a great deal last minute online and just went for the weekend. Having travelled around Italy a bit, I kind of expected not to get what it said in the brochure but I’m happy to say I was pleasantly surprised. We just happened to get the exact same room we saw on the virtual tour, or one that looked just like it, and as for a location, well, we never had to walk very far to get anywhere. It was perfect! P. Having decided as a last minute thing to spend a few days in Florence on our way up to France, having spent a long time on the road we wanted to be sure of a good, clean place to stay. Hotel Roma was right in the centre and we could park up there too, which was great considering how hard it is to find a parking spot! We ended up staying 5 days in the end, taking day trips all over Tuscany – which the concierge recommended. It was beautiful just to know that we could always go back to the place and it was so friendly. We’d definitely go back there -thank you Hotel Roma!
